Albert Lee—President, Essex Furukawa Magnet Wire Asia—was recently recognized as a “Friend of the Trade Union” by the Suzhou, China High-tech Trade Union for the 2021-2022 cycle.
Being named a ‘Friend of the Trade Union’ is the among the highest levels of commendation awarded by the Trade Union, and only went to nine other individuals. It recognizes Lee as a supporter of labor union work as well as celebrates how he treats the Essex Furukawa employees at the Suzhou plant.
“On behalf of our company labor union, I sincerely thank Mr. Lee’s great support to our labor union work and care for our employees,” Cindy Lang, the Quality Supervisor and Union rep at the plant, said.
His plan had a simple, but heartfelt, purpose; and he worked diligently to increase the quality of life for everyone who works in the plant.
